Timer replacement

Dear forum members,

I am having issues locating a new replacement for my timer motor # Intermatic WG-433-3. It looks that all my local stores do not carry this model any more. I am wondering what might be a good alternative timer for this model? Thanks!

That should be for the T-104. If so they're easy to find online and a lot of pool places should have them. The WG1573-10D clock motor should fit it also.

Thanks! It's one of the motor for T12404R timer. My other motor that will need to be replaced is WG1573. I saw a rating of WG1573 on Grainger's website that goes here http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/wwg/se ... ReviewTabs. The buyer complained that 1573 is not a replacement for 433. So I am wondering whether this might be the case? I took out both from my timer and it appears that they look the same, but I am not sure whether there is anything else to look for. Other than the bottom for 433 marks 36 0 and the 1573 marks 15 0 .

Great information. Thank you! I also found the motor at my local Grainger store at almost same price. I just have difficulties finding the appropriate replacement motor for 433-3.

I just had this issue about a couple of months ago. I bought the 1573 and it is NOT a replacement for the 433 motor. The 1573 had a smaller size gear that did not mesh with the gears on the clock.

I called intermatic and the guy said that the number after the 433 does not matter, so you can use a 433-3, 433-10, 433-20, etc...

Thank you very much for confirming the replacement issue - that's exactly what I am worried about. Don't want to drive 15 miles to pick up the wrong part from local store. I guess Amazon's price is good but it is just the shipping kills the deal. A WG1573 runs at around 21 bucks after shipping but 433 maybe 10 or even 15 bucks more than that.

Yeah, I think I paid $35 total for my WG433-20d. Although, during the month I spent messing around by ordering the wrong part, returing that part, getting the correct one, etc...I probably paid an extra $60 in electricity costs because my pump was running 24/7.
