Chlorine level ?

Your site, which I've always used as my guide, says ideal chlorine for my pool with CYA at 80 is about 6.

The label on the inside of the swg says total chlorine should be 3!! Big difference.

It also recommends TA at 80-120. We're struggling with rising PH with TA at 80 and are adding acid to bring it down to 70.

What are your thoughts on that chlorine recommendation?

Listen to our advice, not theirs. They didn't put any thought into their recommendations, they just copied down some numbers from an older set of recommendations that were not designed for use in your situation.
