Maximum solar efficiency

I have (6) 2 x 20 Sungrabber solar panels for my 18 x 36 inground pool.

I run an independent 3/4 hp pump for the solar system and wondering about efficiency
of the panels. Should I be installing a diverting valve to reduce flow through the panels?

I think this is getting into the "Law of diminishing returns" area, but wondering how to maximize
the heat output.

I guess I would need to figure out my GPM output?

You will get the most heat out of the panels by maximizing the flow through them.
