Does anyone know if i can connect the plungervalve directly on the pump because i have the thru the wall skimmer directly connect to the pump but i want to have the plungervalve so that i can shut the water when i have to work on the pump?

Post a pic of your setup. With a little modding you would probably do it but a ball valve would be much better and wayyy less restrictive
It will work. There was just a thread with a pic of what your talking about.the plunger valve hooked to the leaf basket on the pump. It looks funky but serves its purpose.
