Hi,

I just replaced my Jandy AquaPure 1400 cell and am getting this error:
172 Flow Sensor service condition or flow sensor is
unplugged.

Of course, the 'troubleshooting' says to call a service professional.

Any trouble shooting tips before I bring someone out? I'll be happy to post pics of my connections, etc if that helps.

Thanks,

Lynn

That could be a couple of different things. If everything was working recently, the two most likely are 1) The cable between the control unit and the flow sensor has been cut or unplugged. 2) The flow sensor is broken.

Thanks for the advice.

Ping, I'll double check the cable.

Jason, I hope the flow sensor isn't broken, it's a brand new part! And thanks for creating the Pool Calculator. It's awesome.

I checked everything and re-pressed and held the calibration button on the Tri-Sensor adapter last night. I didn't think it did anything, but when I went back later, the service button and codes were gone. I'll continue to keep an eye on everything in the hopes that all is fine.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Lynn
