Two years ago I added salt to my non SWG pool to get the improved water feel. Certainly worked. Now I plan to add borates, and notice that one of the pros for it is improved water feel.
I'm at the point I need to add a couple bags of salt to get my ppm back to 1800, but if I'm going to add borates anyway, and improved feel is all the salt will do, do I need to add salt?
For those with SWG that already had the improved water feel from the salt, did you notice any further improvement when (if) you added borates?
