Is there a shelf life for shock and calcium? I'm thinking of using a calcium hypochlorite shock from 2010. Is "hth Super Sock It shock and swim" an adequate product to use, until I finish what I have?

Dry and not too hot. The chlorine can break down slowly over time if it is stored in the sun or in a hot shed for years. It won't hurt the pool if that has happened, it will still add calcium, and simply not add as much chlorine as you are expecting.
