Sodium Bisulfate Questions

2 questions:

I found some sodium bisulfate (with a fancy label/name) left by previous owners in the pool shed, does it have a shelf life in terms of effectiveness? I'm in Chicago so this stuff would have experienced triple digit heat as well as below zero temps over a few years.

From a search of the board, it seems this is also known as "dry acid" for purposes of using the pool calculator, is that correct?

Yes, "dry acid" is sodium bisulfate. Acids usually retain their strength well so it's probably still in good shape.
