Quick Pressure question

Is this normal and if so, why does this happen:

When just my two skimmers are running my Multi-Port valve gauge reads about 16psi.
When the main drain and both skimmers run the Multi-Port valve guage jumps and stays at 20psi.

Thank you! I honestly dont know how I would have gotten this pool opened without the help from all of you this spring.

Yes it is normal. The less restriction you have on the suction side (all ports on), the higher the flow rate and the higher the flow rate, the higher the filter pressure is.
