Hayward Multiport Vari-Flo XL, 1-1/2" on hayward 244t sand filter--
Since we are enjoying the monsoon season in the south east I have been backwashing to drain pool. I noticed that my valve on the sand filter is slowly leaking when backwashing. It appears to be just coming up from inside and around the handle area,no streaming leak or nothing acting like it's under major pressure. In lookjng at the parts lists, I am expecting this part ,,
4703-22 COVER O-RING ,,, The parts diagram didnt show the famous spider gasket... Does this valve have one??? and are they very difficult to change-----Not a problem at the moment but thought I'd get my parts and be ready!!
