I currently have a small intex cartridge filter that isn't cutting it for my algae situation. I'm thinking of getting a sand filter and I'm wondering how I figure out what size I should buy?
For your pool we would recommend a minimum 0.9 sq. ft. filter. The intex 1600 (about 1.1 sq. ft.) and 2650 (1.4 sq. ft) sand filters would both meet this requirement. I would probably go with the 2650 over the 1600, since that one will work better for vacuuming.
