How can we tell if our QuadDE was installed properly? I have read posts where some "contributors" have said some pb's install it like a DE and it should be installed like a cartridge.
Maybe I am was totally confused when I bought this filter, but the main reason was b/c it filters like DE. but the cleaning is like a cartridge.
When the pb's plumber was showing us how to clean it, he told us we need to drain the water and DE and then pull up and clean the cartridge filter. Is this correct?
This was the first Quad our pb has installed. He was oblivious before us.
What is the point of the QuadDE vs a DE filter if each time you need to drain the DE anyway (we are actually using the Aquaperl).
