Teaching Little Kids To Swim / Swim Vest

When my kiddos were really little, we used the Swimways 1-2-3 system to help us teach them to swim. Swim lessons were also attended, but, the "Power Swimmer" life vest allowed them to gain confidence very quickly, and consequently they became good swimmers at a very early age.

We opted out of floaties and swim vests. Just didn't like seeing the three and four year olds depending on them so much. Also didn't want any false securities to build up over time.

Swimming lessons began at 6 months, parent in water till 2 years. Kids swim like fish by 3.5 years. Still supervised untill ??? Probably till they can physically run me off LOL
