Hey...Adam here...nice little forums ya got here....

Well last summer we decided to take out a 2nd mortgage to make-over our backyard which consisted of a 50' x 100' dirt and weed lot and an old ugly 20' round AG pool and falling down rotten wood fence. So about $60k later here's what we ended up with (pics below). Please disregard all the pine needles, I'm working on cleaning them up today...haha.

Pool Specs: 18x36 free form pool with DE filter & 2 pumps (1 for the automatic pool cleaner). We're using the Aquarite Salt System and it's been great thus far!

Just opened her up last weekend, added 2 bags of salt and a little alk increaser and the levels are now perfect. She's only 70 degrees but I love cold water so I've been enjoying the heck out of it on this beautiful 90+ degree day! If anyone has any recommendations on what to do next just let me know. I was thinking about a small pool house / shed / changing room.... Thanks for any input either positive or negative!

I'm a visual person... so I'd like to see a before shot if you have one and I'd LOVE to see a pic of the whole inground pool! 8)

Thanks!

It looks great from what I can see and I like the water fall.

Thanks for the compliments, not sure if I've reached a limit or something but since adding the pics to the original thread the forums wont let me add any more attachments....

Already have an outdoor shower and the poolhouse/shed is going up tomorrow morning. We're actually going to turn our garage into a mudroom and bath for that exact purpose....

Adam,

Awesome job! Makes me want to do a lot to mine pool area and back yard once I have the cloudiness issue with my pool corrected.

I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and used to spend EVERY summer from the 2nd weekend in June until Labor Day at the Jersey Shore. I miss that area!

You should think about opening your place up as a B & B and rent a room to folks traveling to the area (i. e. - me :) ).

Keep up the wonderful work.

Well, because it was so nasty i never took pics back there, but here's a shot as the pool was going in, note the rotting fence, haha:
