I'm looking around for the right robotic cleaner to buy for my inground glass pool with a safety ledge, steps and a large ledge on the other end. I'm afraid that it will climb up the wall as far as the safety ledge, stairs and other ledge and then go back down. It will never get to the water line if that is the case. I have never had an automatic cleaner so I don't know much about them. Can anyone help education me on this? Thank you.

Most robotic cleaner recognize waterline by moving out of the water. They can go up steps, swimouts, etc, as long as the width of the ledge is enough for it to do so.
