Return Line Eyelids, Yeah I have no idea please help

Ok,

I live in a wooded neighborhood and we often have bees and wasps stopping by the pool for a cocktail and appetizers.

My neighbor suggested placing directional covers, eyelids to have the returning water brake the surface so it is not smooth for the visitors.

My return lines have a threaded pvc part inside the wall, rather flush to the wall that I could screw these parts into.
So can you name this part, where I could get these, I think its 2 inch piping, and has anyone tried this

Eyeballs is the term you are looking for. Any pool store should have them.

They are also known as 'directional inlets' - but everyone calls them 'eyeballs'

You may want to keep a closer watch on your TA and pH after you turn the eyeballs to break the surface of the water.

Over time, this will cause your TA to drop and your pH to rise.

Do you have borates in your pool? I used to have a problem with wasps, but once I added borax the borates seemed to break the surface tension of the water so that wasps sink and drown. That cut down on the problem considerably.
