ok, i'll admit it, I'm drunk. I went to open my 50 lb bucket of 73% cal hypo granules and I swear it has this yellow haze in the bucket. I fanned the bucket with the lid but I still caught a whiff than Dang near knocked me out. does cal-hypo put off yellow fumes or was this my imagination? it is stored outside in a plastic container and it has been in the upper 90s-100 here lately.

If chlorine gets wet, it will generate yellow chlorine gas fumes.
Which can be deadly...be careful to open that up in dry conditions outside away from other chemicals and allow it to dry out. You need a lot of ventilation, low humidity, etc. Alternately, ask a local store how to dispose of it safely.
