Dilemma!

So I cleaned my de filter today cause it was disgusting!!!
Afterwords I decided to check a noise in the heater and turned the filter off after adding De, the de backed into the pool while I wasn't looking because I left the pressure relief valve open. I now have the filter running with my Polaris in the water, should I just let it circulate? Leave it off overnight and vacuum into filter in the morning?

You can let it run and vacuum up the DE back to the filter.

So I'll have to manually vacuum it up then I guess?

Probably, the one time I got de in the pool it's was a nightmare to get back in the filter, I vacummed to filter but easier said then done. Stuff moves around like dust.

Yeah, you have to go really slow and sneak up on it.

This is my fear of putting in DE. I want it, but fear this scenario too much.

I had grids fail one year and got a ton of de in pool its a pain in the butt. You just have to vac the pool until its gone. In my case it took about 7-8 vacs to get it all out.(I had several pounds in the pool)

Thanks all! Combo of Polaris throwing it around and my vacuuming it seems to be all gone.
