Diving Jig Distance

Hello-

I just had a 20x48 pool installed and I'm waiting for the rain to stop so we can pour the concrete deck. I'm concerned about the proper distance to mount the diving board jig because there is a discrepancy between my pool builder and Interfab. The pool builder states 27 inches from front Jig bolt and Interfab states 13 inches. Below are the technical details.


20x48 pool
4 ft. slope on diving end
6 ft. diving well
14 ft slope from deep to shallow

This is a typical vinyl liner pool and I'd like to know what distance others have set the diving jig for the Durobeam/La Mesa base. Any help greatly appreciated.

What is the diving board length? I would say you are talking about a 6 foot board.

Where do you see 13 inches in the manual?

If you figure your pool type out, then you can find on the chart the distance from the water to the forward jig bolts.

I called Interfab and provided them the measurements for my pool and they stated it was 13 inches because it's a vinyl lined pool and the walls have a 4 ft. slope in deep end. They indicated there manual is for Gunite pools only and you must call for Vinyl dimensions.
