Just got my pump (Zodiac FHPM 1HP), filter (Pentair Tagelus TA40, and SWG (CompuPool CPSC16) operational. All the prementioned new equip. run off a timer and I would like some input as to how long the pump and SWG need to run on a daily basis with no one using the pool (8000 gal.)

Likely you only need 4-6 hours pump time and adjust the SWG % to maintain adequate chlorine.
