I am converting from pucks to a SWG with a Pentair Intelliflo pump. I want to use the Intermatic P1353ME to provide power to the Intelliflo and the SWG. I have attached a proposed wiring diagram. Tell me what I have wrong Please -

Jason-
All my literature with the Hayward SWG says no power to the SWG unless the pump is running - is that wrong? That was my purpose for the timer to begin with.

Are you saying to use the 2nd circuit of the timer to switch L2 to the Intelliflo VS pump. And the 1st circuit to switch L1 to the Inelliflo VS pump?

Thanks,
Paul

It's very common to switch only one leg of the power on a 220 circuit, however I like to switch both legs when possible as it's a little safer as Jason said. I'd go ahead and leave the swg like you have it and switch L2 to both units through circuit 2.
