Converting to swg

I will be converting to a swg pool. My numbers are as followed
16x32 vinyl lined inground
21000 gal
Ph 7.5
Fc 2
Ta 120
Cya 35

Do I need to change anything other than the cya before adding salt ?

Sounds like you are ready. Go ahead and bump your FC up to around 5 ppm (with bleach) so your SWG won't have to work hard trying to bring it up from 2.

Great! Been reading all over the internet (until I found this site) that I am suppose to drain and fill with fresh water first. Didn't make sense. Are my numbers good to maintain at those levels after or should I adjust something ?

Just check your salt level first before adding salt.
