I am posting for the first time here. I have an Intex pool 12'x24'x48" says on side mfg in 2004 so I guess I am doing pretty good since its now 2013! I have a problem now with the air valve that has a huge crack in it. We tried everything to seal the crack but it still leaked then we had the bright idea of cutting the air valve off & putting a bicycle inter tube on (BAD IDEA) now we have tried resealing it with another inflatable valve (air mattress valve patch cut out (bad idea). So can anyone tell me if the NOODLES really work or the 2-Liter plastic bottles work for sure? I really don't want to throw my pool away that is the only thing wrong with it!! knock on wood!
