Auto cover rope replacement for CoverPools SAVE-T COVER II

Hi guys,
Does someone know how to replace the cover's rope for CoverPools SAVE-T COVER II?

What is the correct name for the rope? non-twisted polypropelen rope, 1/4 inch (5-6 mm) in diameter?
Where can I buy it? The local dealer wants $500 for parts and ?1-2h job...

How to fit rope into the tracks?

I am interested as well so I can do my own repairs in the future. Watching for info!

There is a PDF owner's guide online somewhere that might help you.

I will also post up in the next couple weeks on how my less than a year old cover (my fault, long story) replacement goes, I hope to be home to watch/help as I did not see the inital cover installation.

What type of the rope do I need to buy?
It looks like it has to be Brainded. Solid or Hollow...solid sounds better? Nylon and Polyester Rope, only Nylon or only Polyester Rope?

What is the size: 1/4, 3/8 or 5/8?

It seems that Home Depot has them all ~$0.10/ft

How do I feed the rope into the chanel in the wall (?ropedriver)?
Do I need to remove the "ropedriver" from the pool wall before reloading a new rope?

I ordered a replacement rope form these guys. http://www.automaticswimmingpoolcoverparts.com/Maintenance-Items-bearings-pulleys_c13.htm?page=all
What is important is to buy the rope with a pre-sewn piece of canvas attached at the end so it can easily be sewn into your old cover.
You will need a sweing awl and it is a little difficult.
