Timer for vacation question.

I've never been away from the pool and I'm nervous. I have a heavy duty brinks 42-1015 timer but I'm not sure if its appropriate for my pump. So I guess I have 2 questions. Is it okay to use it and how long should I run it? I will be gone 7 days.

I think we're going to have to know what size and voltage your pump is before we can answer that question.

That timer is rated at 15 amps but it's not inductive load rated so it's probably not for use on a pump.

Not sure about pump. It's a waterway 1.5 HP 115 volts will it hurt something to use it? Sorry this is way above my head. Thanks!

You're going to be at or above the amperage rating of that timer. I'd probably get something rated for a motor load and at least the rated HP.

Lowes or Home Depot should have it. Ace Hardware or a local hardware may have them as well.
