My DIG-220 doesn't keep the correct time. Nothing in the manual or site. Before I rip into it, has anyone experienced this. Maybe the internal battery.

Turn the pump off (which should turn the Pool Pilot off too). Let it sit for a few minutes then turn everything back on. If it restarts at 12:00, it's most likely the back up battery.

The time does not go to 12:00. I set it last night at 7pm and today at 1pm it reads 6:58am. The unit is 3 yrs old.

What time does your pump come on in the morning? 6 am?
Are you running your pump through the Digital unit? or do you have an external timeclock?

Pump runs off Autopilot pump 1 set 6:15 to 7:30am, pump 2 set 6:30 to 7:30pm (high speed). Pump runs low speed between these times. Intermatic timer controls Autopilot 6am to 8pm.
It's the battery. Remove the top control circuit board from the cover. Flip it over. The battery is a CR-2025 button style battery.
How did I come to that conclusion? The reason I asked if your system comes on at 6 am is that if the unit reset to 12:00. When you checked it at 1 pm, it read 6:58.
Your pump starts at 6 am, so by 1 pm, that's 7 hrs.
From 12:00 to 6:58, that's almost 7 hrs.
PLEASE let me know if this did not do the trick.
