Compupool Calibration Question

Am I to assume that when the calibration is made, due to indicating low salt, that the unit is still connected to the generator and water pump is on? Or, is it disconnected from the generator but still connected to power? Wasn't clarified in the instructions.

Maybe this will help. When my csc48 indicates high salt or over salt it still produces chlorine even though the over salt LED is lit. According to Compupool it is 10% less efficient when the fault light is let up. I had a high salt LED lit up and my salt was @ 3200 with taylor test kit. I just calibrated today from -18 to +6. It seems to be working now.
