pool over inlet so i got pump going. pool is (will be in about another 2 hours) 6423 gallons. added 50 oz bleach per pool calc for FC at 5.
put 4 lbs stabilizer in sock hanging from ladder to start cya. i realized after i looked a calc again that i misunderstood oz to lbs conversion and should have only been 2lbs (ish). i will pull sock out when its a little less than 1/2 full and check cya.
ph test with my k-2006 has it right down the middle at 7.7. (i figure that b/c when i look at it to the north outside and with no sunglasses, it isnt as dark as 7.8 but no as light as 7.6. city water so i figured pH would be good anyway.
what else do i need to do?
how long should i let pump circulate before testing FC?
and.... when can we swim?
