After shock my pool the shock becomes a white film on top of the pool within five minutes or so. I recently brought a sample to Leslie's pool where they said my chemical levels were good other than my total chlorine being more than my free chlorine even though I shocked my pool the night before and left the filter running. My pool is slightly green and very cloudy, hardly being able to see the shallow end's bottom. Any help?
