Pressure guage question

I recently after 3 years of operation replaced the original Hayward pressure guage on my sand filter. Reason, water buildup inside the guage (alot), presumably condensation or seal (happened overnight). I replaced it with another guage from Lowes (pool section) and low and behold, the next morning I see a small section of condensation on the inside of the lense. The guage functions fine, same readings as original however, I am concerned that it may not last very long due to the moisture.

I remember reading somewhere on this forum about a liquid filled guage being better than the generic chaeper ones. Is there any merit to that statement? If so, recomendations on where to purchase said guage? If not, where to purchase a better quality filter guage that wont condense overnight?

Thank you,

Marvin
