It took me 5 years to find a resource I could trust on pool care. Thanks TFP!

Studied at Pool School for about a few weeks now. Got my TF100 delivered yesterday!
Practicing BBB, but still using my cholrinator.

Test results:

FC - 21
CC - 0.5
pH - 7.2
TA - 100
CH - 500
CYA - 80
Borates - not yet

FC is still high from shocking with bleach last week. Overnight drop is zero.

I have some questions, but I will ask them in the forum. Thanks for all the great information.

So you are aware that your CYA is pretty high and the pucks are making it rise more ... right?

Hi Jason,

Yes, I am. I am getting ready for a new SWG install, so I have been raising CYA slowly over the last few weeks.

We are ready to install the SWG next week, so I will cut the tabs. Might as well do that now as it appears I am at the upper end of CYA for SWGs.

Thanks for pointing that out. I can save the pucks for something else in the future!
