Air bubbles out of one return jet

I have two return jets. I'm getting air coming from jet closest to pump. Never from jet furthest from pump. I have not noticed air in the pump basket. Also when first turning on pump I get an initial shot of air bubbles. The bubbles dissipate after about one minute. But after about an hour the bubbles are back. And pressure has dropped about 5 to 10 psi. I can turn off pump for 10 to 15 seconds and restart it and the above cycle begins again starting with normal pressure and the initial shot off bubbles. Any thoughts on this?

Also, I don't know the size of pump or filter but here is a pic. Its a single speed pump as far as I know.

Try running some water over your pump basket. If the air pocket in the pump basket goes away, probably a bad seal.
