Pool overflowing

Hi everyone, we had massive rain last night.....1. Do I have to drain pool or can I just let it keep coming out over skimmer?
2. I shocked pool all day yesterday and did overnight test this morning and the results were FC13.5 FC12.5 CC0
OK to swim today?

You should keep the water level about 1/2 up the skimmer to it works properly. You can swim up to shock level.

If the water is above the top of the skimmer opening, you should drain the pool down to that level. Depending on which pool/skimmer design you have, it might be designed to overflow before that happens, or it might not.

The easiest way to drain your pool is to set the filter to Waste and let the pump do the work. You might also take the opportunity to backflush the filter.

Thanks will drain a little today!! Just to clarify...I did the Overnight Fc Test last night results were 13.5 this morning they were 12.5 Is that considered passing the test or does it have to be .5 ppm or less?
