Hi there everyone. I've browsed around a bit here before but figured I'd officially join in the fun.
We purchased a 15'x42" Intex metal frame pool last year. It was a hot day and we figured we should get a pool I guess. Prepped our uneven yard, put up the pool. Even after prep and leveling when full it was about 3" off from one side to the other, our yard has a slight slope to it. Took it down for the winter and just put it back up a few weeks ago. Dug down a little deeper where I needed too. Added some fresh sand to fill in any little dips and get it nice and level. Added a SWG this year. Also did some landscaping around it this year to give it a bit more of a finished look. This also means I plan on NOT taking it down this winter. We shall see how it does in the Chicago Area winter weather. Well, I'll throw a few pics up in the landscaping forum and ask a question in the appropriate forum regarding pool vacuums. Will add my info to my Sig when I get a chance as well.
