I have a Hayward SWG (not yet installed) and I'm wondering what is the maximum FC output. I know there are many factors like pump capacity, flow rates, chlorine consumption, etc. but I'm looking for and approximation. I haven't seen anything in the literature.

Which model do you have? Chlorine production by a SWG is typically stated as lbs per day assuming 24 hour run time at 100%. 1 pound per day is about the average.

Do you mean the SwimPure Plus? It is able produce up to 1.45 lbs of chlorine a day. That is about 360 oz of 6% bleach, not quite three gallons.

How that translates into FC levels depends on the size of the pool, bather load, amount of sunlight, CYA level, etc.
