Algae or not?

My pool is clear, FC has been above 3 with cya at 35, no signs of anything green on walls or fittings... but, there's weird gold stuff on my cleaner hose. It's like gold paint was dripped along it. "Puddles" about .2" x .5", randomly on the hose, mostly near the cleaner (deeper). I rubbed it off a couple days ago, now there's more. Mustard algae?

Run the overnight loss test and also measure CC. That should tell you if it's organic.

Nothing growing.
8:30PM: FC = 4.0, CC = .5
6:30AM: FC = 4.5, CC = 0
Seems odd, pump not running, both taken from same spot 18" deep. Anyway, looks more like pollen. Real strange, was back this morning after having wiped the hose yesterday.

I thought that might be a possibility. Did have a frog in the skimmer a couple weeks ago, haven't seen it since. I'll clean the hose OUT of the pool today!
