How to replace my coverstar auto rope?

Can someone send me pics or video on how to replace my coverstar auto rope. It pulls one side but not the other...where do i buy new rope? Trying to save some money but is it worth the headache and can i wreck something if i do it wrong? Just wondering if everyone had success or wished they just paid for the repair?
