I have a Sta-Rite System 3 Filter. There are a couple of pleats that are torn They are about two inches long. Here is a picture:
I bought the home about two years ago and don't know how old the filter is. I know I should replace it soon, but I want to get my pool opened and all the Muck out of the deep end before I get new ones. My question: Is there any type of sealant, caulking or epoxy that I could use to repair the holes? Are there any methods to patch the thing? Any tips and tricks you may have would be wonderful. I am fairly new to all of this.
