need to replace spider gasket on multivalve

I have a pentair multivalve (261055)and need to replace the spider gasket. I have read different instructions and not sure what to do. Do I need to glue down the gasket with loctite 401 and if so do I glue just at certain points or the entire gasket. Once it is in should I lube the gasket.

More than one approach might be acceptable....I would certainly ask Pentair.

Tried to ask on the pentair site but no response in 2 days. Guess I might have to call. Was hoping someone here might know.

Talked to a Pentair tech rep a little bit ago and she said to use 4 or 5 dots of glue to hold the gasket in place and no lube needed on top of the gasket once installed.
