Little Blue Scoop with the TF-100

The white line is likely the seam of the vinyl between the walls and the floor. They may even have one that crosses the floor of the pool (I do). If the base color (back) of your vinyl is white, this makes even more sense.

I have an AG pool and if there is less than 4 inches of water, i can move my seams with my foot but after that, just leave them alone and you should be fine. When you can see the seams from outside the pool, you know your water is clear.

I just hope I haven't put stress on the seams causing it to split or be punctured by something eventually. Time will tell... in the mean time I will try a plunger to try and move them. My son has some wicked toenails so I've told him no hanging on the side and digging in to climb out of the pool. LOL. 80 gallons of bleach  The first 12 doesn't count because I didn't have a good test kit! With a few more cups of D.E and a few more days of filtration I think I may have reached the end. I tested cya today it did lower to 25 so I am going to bump it up to 40. My Ph is 7.2. I think I need to bump that up a bit too.

Not the reflection of the clouds but the white spot in center of photo is a sock thats in the deep end 8ft down. It dropped in there yesterday when I added cya... so I am sooooo close!!

I am so so close..that I'm hanging up my towel and calling it a day.. or 5 weeks in my case!. I've passed OCLT.. cc's are .05 and I'm nearly clear! Lastly, my oodles and oodles of gallons of Chlorine (84)! Stacked up in cases. and then my grandson knocking them all over!

Re: Can leaves and debris bleach out the liner?

 My pool water is so clean and sparkling. I love love love it! I admit I was doubting the process so many times.. wondering if I would ever reach the end with time frame and all the liquid chlorine i put in. but I found my spending list of last summer . $580 algicides, powdered shocks, flocc, .. with all that money spent I still did not get my water this clean. Now this Slamming process wasn't cheap 21 cases at 9.95. $209 I also bought 2 things of cya, a bag of DE, 1box of borax and my test kit Still.... I'm way under what I spent last year. I raised my cya up to 40 and have been putting in 1/2 a gal a day. 1 box of borax raised my PH to 7.5 perfectly.

Now my only complaint is my bleached spots and it may not be from the bleach. I recall these areas are where leaves and debris normally collect... Could the leaves that have laid in those spots for so long caused the liner to fade?

Thank you!
