Covering water intake

Good Morning,

I just got my pool going yesterday only to find 3 dead frogs in the skimmer basket this morning. I am so bummed as I loved to listen to these frogs chatting all day and night out in my yard.

Has anyone ever tried covering the intake with a nylon mesh fabric, holes big enough for water to go through but frogs can not get caught and sucked into the skimmer basket.

I am sick that these little froggies had to die.

Try placing a junk of packing foam in the skimmer. This will give them a little life raft to hang onto until you can get them out of the water.
