We have a 18 x 33 Oval shaped above ground pool. We are looking at purchasing a solar cover and reel. My husband has been checking on the reels and is concerned about how well the reels hold up. Any recommendations on a good reliable reel?
I have a 24' round Doughboy pool and bought my reel at a Doughboy dealer. I have no idea what brand name it is but I've had mine since 1999. The reel, not the cover! I live in Michigan so the cover & reel are stored in the garage when pool season is over.
