I think I need this. What test will I be able to use it on? I want to get my test as accurate as I can and I think this is the ticket.

Everything except the CYA and pH tests ... although some even use it for mixing the CYA test.

Everything but the pH. I have extra vials and stirbars so I can run everything before I have to stop and wash the dishes.samt said:

Same as Richard, everything except the pH test, and I'd probably use it on that one if I could find a stir bar small enough to fit in the test block and spin!

Well, I hope you guys don't laugh, but I made one. And it works like a champ. I also ordered a stir bar on eBay for 5 bucks. My homemade stir bar was the weak link. I didn't get a good vortex.
My total investment is 8 smackaroos.
I made it out of a computer fan motor and used a 9 volt battery for power and stuck a radio shack toggle switch on it and stole a tuppware container from the lady that runs the house to mount it in.
There's a ton of videos on utube on how to do this.( magnetic stirrer)
Usually things I try to make it always seems it just better buying the real thing, but this came out great and works really good.

Well here she is, homemade magnetic stirrer.
Once I get the real stir bar I think the vortex will go to the bottom.
It has just a 1/4 round magnet in there now and it actually does real good with just that.
