Chlorinator off high temperature

My chlorinator is off due to high temperature. I've tried to reset it by hitting the + on the Diagnostics menu, but it goes right back off. The temp on the panel says the pool water is 85 degrees, but I doubt that is accurate since our highs are around 85 and overnight lows are between 65 and 75 and the water just doesn't feel that warm. But, still I don't remember the chlorinator shutting off last summer because of high temperature.

Salt is around 2900 - 3000.

Any recommendations on other things I should check?

Is the menu telling you the water is too hot? I haven't heard of that before. What brand and model of swg?
