BBB is Great.. Thank you But I have another question

I just want to thank everyone for all thier help last year... I opened my pool a week ago and it was crystal clear. (only 2nd time in 6 seasons)
I passed my OCLT last night but I have a question
I have been shocking and I again bumped FC to 28 last night at 6pm then tested again at 9pm still 28
6am this morning my FC level was 27
7pm tonight it was 16
Do you think I lost to much FC today.
It was very humid and hot today with alot of rain. I also had the solar cover on today. Do you think I lost to much FC today?
I am still learning and just wanted to double check

FC 16
CC 0
PH 7.5
CYA 70 (this is same reading as last year after dumping 1/2 my water and starting the BBB method) I hope to be able to do this again next spring.

You lose a % of FC to the sun each day ... the higher your starting FC, the more ppm you will lose. You lost 40%, which seems slightly high given the rain and cover, but if you passed the OCLT, then you should be fine.

Sometimes at a high FC level you'll lose more faster.
