Deck Build revels a problem

Well, I started building my deck. After digging my holes for my footings yesterday I went out this morning and one of the holes closest to the side of the pool has about 3 inches of water in it. This particular spot is the lowest side of my pool so it would make sense that if my liner has a hole in it it would all run to this spot. I did find a little hole in my liner about the size of a pencil eraser cut in half. could this be where the water is coming from or is there a bigger problem?

It's very possible. Little holes canleak a lot of water, especially if theyare towards the bottom of the pool and the weight of the water is forcing the water out. See if you can patch the hole with a piece of old liner or a kit from the pool store.

If you had a hole, yes. Water travels to the lowest point.
