During the first half hour or so after my filter pump turns on I can hear the Levelor auto water fill kick in but when it shuts off it makes a bang so loud the whole house shakes. Any ideas what might be wrong.

Sounds like water hammer to me. Can you post a picture of it and the plumbing to it?
