Re: New Build - NE Houston (Atascocita, TX) - COMPLETE

So... been away for several days (working and enjoying the pool). Thought it was time to post some "final" pics. Still some small things to do (TV on porch, etc.), but this thing is basically done. Sure has been a process.....but we are glad it is behind us.

Love the coping around your pool, what is it?

Thanks for asking..... It is a very light (will have to ask the wife the color) Travertine. The tile guys got 24" slabs of it an hand bullnosed the edges (both edges on the wall). Really a wonderful thing to watch. They did it this way to prevent many triangular cuts on the turns. It looks amazing....

Looks gorgeous! Love the contemporary style that you've gone with.

Yeah the wife wanted something different than the typical lagoon style pool. It isn't that we don't like them (we do), but we like doing things a bit different to stand out. My wife found this "style" pool in a magazine and fell in love. The rest is history...... I think she did a great job. Glad others agree.
