This forum has been great with help on my issues. I am replacing my old pump with a more energy efficient .5 hp TriStar. I have a 1.5 inch hayward multiport valve on my de filter. The new pump has a 2" connection. I have one of those clear curved 1.5 " pipes between the current Superpump and the valve. My question is how do I go from the 2" connection on the tristar to th 1.5" multiport valve. I was considering a short 2" piece of pvc attached to a reducer. I do not have the pump yet, so I have not looked at the connectors. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
