There is an HTH product at Walmart called Cell Saver. It says it extends the life of your SWG cell and prevents scale buildup. Does it work? I couldn't find any ingredients on the bottle. Anyone know what it is exactly?

It is a sequestrant especially formulated to prevent calcium scaling inside the SWG cell. In most situations it is completely useless, as normal chemical balance will prevent calcium scaling without the use of additional products. However, in situations where CH levels over 600 ppm are unavoidable it can be useful.
